हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री नायब सिंह सैनी ने कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी के मोहब्बत की दुकान वाले नारे पर निशाना साधते हुए 1984 के सिख विरोधी दंगों और 1975 में लगाए गए आपातकाल का जिक्र किया। उन्होंने सवाल किया कि जब सिख दंगों से प्रभावित परिवार मुश्किलों का सामना कर रहे थे और आपातकाल के दौरान लोगों को जेलों में बंद किया जा रहा था, तब राहुल गांधी की मोहब्बत की दुकान कहां थी सैनी ने कहा कि राहुल गांधी को इतिहास के इन अध्यायों को भी स्वीकार करना चाहिए। #WATCH Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said, "Rahul Gandhi talks about the shop of love, but I want to ask him one question: Where was this Mohabbat Ki Dukaan when the families affected by the 1984 anti-Sikh riots were suffering It should have been opened for them as well. That, to me, is the real Mohabbat Ki Dukaan, an initiative that brings the country together" — ANI (@ANI) October 24, 2026 मुख्यमंत्री की यह टिप्पणी विपक्षी गठबंधन की ओर से 1 नवंबर को दिल्ली के रामलीला मैदान में प्रस्तावित वोट चोरी के खिलाफ महारैली से पहले आई है। कांग्रेस महासचिव (संगठन) केसी वेणुगोपाल ने भी रैली की तैयारियों को लेकर पार्टी पदाधिकारियों के साथ बैठक की है। 1984 के दंगों और इमरजेंसी का किया जिक्र नायब सिंह सैनी ने कहा कि राहुल गांधी अक्सर मोहब्बत की दुकान की बात करते हैं, लेकिन उन्हें यह भी बताना चाहिए कि 1984 के सिख विरोधी दंगों के दौरान पीड़ित परिवारों के लिए यह दुकान क्यों नहीं खोली गई। उन्होंने 1975 में तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी द्वारा लगाए गए आपातकाल का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि उस समय लोगों को भय के माहौल में रहना पड़ा, उन्हें जेलों में बंद किया गया और कई लोग अपने घरों तक नहीं लौट पाए। सैनी ने कहा कि राहुल गांधी को इन घटनाओं पर भी अपनी बात रखनी चाहिए। मुख्यमंत्री ने कांग्रेस पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि पार्टी ने राहुल गांधी को राजनीति में आगे बढ़ाने के कई प्रयास किए, लेकिन उनके मुताबिक ये प्रयास सफल नहीं हुए। उन्होंने राहुल गांधी के राजनीतिक सफर की तुलना ऐसे रॉकेट से की, जो उड़ान भरते ही विफल हो गया।
